Tiger started in 1995 in stylish Copenhagen. We have developed from a modest outlet to a recognised chain with 100+ stores across Denmark, Iceland, Germany, Spain, Sweden, Netherlands, Greece, Italy, Ireland, Lithuania and Latvia. 

Tiger in thirteen locations in England...
In June 2005 we opened our first UK store in Basingstoke. Since then we have opened 13 stores across the South East and employ 100+ staff with a head office in North London.

Our mission is to provide our customers with stylish products, in a pleasant environment, at astonishingly low prices. We don’t mess around with our prices, everything in our stores is priced in whole pounds with nothing exceeding £20.

In Denmark, Tiger has caused a mini retail revolution. We are making the point that cheap and cheerful can be achieved, and at the same time amaze our customers at what is possible for the low prices. Such a mini revolution is our target for the UK market. Tiger is a variety store with a difference.

Our customers find great service and a store design that makes you want to browse. We don’t shout about our prices, we let our customers make their own judgement. 

The outlook for Tiger UK is very exciting. Our aim is to open many more stores in 2012 followed by many even more in the next few years.
